WELCOME to Macon First Baptist Church
If it's your first visit, we're happy you're here. We know that attending any church for the first time can sometimes feel awkward. There's different music, people going here and there like they know what they are doing, and lots of traditions that may make you feel like you don't belong.
Let us help make you feel more at home! MaconFBC is a place where you don't have to be fluent at "church" in order to start or continue a journey with God. Our hope is that you will find MaconFBC to be a place where YOU CAN FIND HOPE through Jesus Christ (personal relationship), grow through studying God's Word (small groups), and worship our one living God (worship service).
WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAY
Parking is provided on all sides of our facility and our parking greeters will be available to help navigate you to available parking. Front door accessibility is provided at both the North and East entrances. Nearby handicapp accessible parking is also close to each entrance.
As you enter the building, our greeters will be available to help you go where you want to go. At 9:00AM, you can join others in the main Worship Center for a time of Worship and Praise and to hear from God's Word. Or you may find a small group study on the lower level. If you have small children, our greeters will show you where Kids Cove is so your children can enjoy Sunday School. Students Grades 7-12 meet for Large and Small Group Study at 9:00AM.
At 10:30AM, a second Worship Service begins on the main level in the Worship Center. All children ages 4 years through 3rd Grade worship together in the children's wing for Kids Cove Worship. Nursery care is available for infants in the children's wing.
At 6:00PM, MaconFBC families meet together for "FAMILY NIGHT". It's more than your typicial Sunday night church. Family Night brings everyone of all ages together with a variety of interactive games, a unique learning experience and time of worship for your whole family!. Everyone is welcome!
ON WEDNESDAY
Each Wednesday at 6PM children, students and adults have the opportunity for growth and prayer. At 5:00PM, those who participate in Wednesday activities may join us for Family Fellowship Supper in the worship center. For a nominal fee, you and/or your family can have a healthy meal before attending Awana, Student Crossover or Prayer meeting.
